Who we are
OffPiste Digital is a business based in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in the United States. It runs the website at offpistedigital.com and can be reached at jay@offpistedigital.com. These terms cover that website and the free AI visibility audit. Paid work runs under a separate written agreement, and where that agreement and this page disagree, the agreement wins.
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.
Acceptable use
You are welcome to read this site, share links to it, quote it with attribution, and send us a request through either form. Beyond that, please do not:
- use the site for anything unlawful, or to help anyone else do something unlawful;
- attempt to gain access to any part of the site, its host or its accounts that is not openly published, or probe, scan or test it for weaknesses;
- interfere with the site or the people who use it, including by overloading it, sending automated traffic at it, or submitting the forms in bulk;
- send abusive, threatening or harassing messages through the forms or to our address;
- submit somebody else's details as though they were your own, or anything false or misleading;
- scrape or copy the site in bulk to republish it, resell it, or train a model you then sell.
We may decline a request, block access, or both, if any of this happens. We would rather just ask you to stop, and usually will.
Intellectual property
The text, the images, the design, the code, the gear finder, the OffPiste Digital name and the logo all belong to us, and nothing on this page transfers any of it to you. Quoting the site with attribution and linking to it are fine and welcome. Copying it wholesale, reselling it, or presenting the work as yours is not.
User accounts
This site has no accounts. There is nothing to register for, no password to set, and no login. The only thing you can send us is a form, and the only thing you get back is an email. If we ever add accounts, this section changes first and says so.
The free audit
The audit is free, and there is no obligation to buy anything after you read it. We prepare it from public information and from answers AI assistants give us on the day we run it. Those answers change on their own, so an audit is a reading taken at a moment rather than a permanent measurement. Everything in it is our honest assessment, offered as information and not as a promise about what any AI assistant will say next week.
We aim to deliver an audit within two business days. We may decline a request, for instance when the brand falls outside the kinds of business we serve.
What we promise, and what nobody can
Nobody controls what an AI assistant says, and anyone who guarantees a top spot is guessing. We promise the work, the tracking, and a clear view of what is moving every month. For clients on the plans where we do the work ourselves, if your share of AI answers on your tracked questions has not improved by day 90, your fourth month is free and we keep working.
Pricing
Prices shown on this site are in United States dollars and may change. The price you are quoted in writing is the price you pay for the term you agreed. Plans run on a 3 month minimum, then month by month with 30 days notice, and there is no setup fee.
The gear finder
A gear finder we build for you is yours to use on your website for as long as your plan runs. The underlying template, the sizing logic and the code stay ours, and we license them to you rather than sell them. Your product data, your photography and your brand stay yours.
Links and embeds
This site links to other companies and embeds a demo of our own. We are not responsible for what other websites do or say.
Liability
This site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, and we cannot promise it is free of every error or that it never goes offline. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for anything that follows from an error, an interruption or a technical fault on this site, and our total liability for anything connected to it is limited to what you have paid us, which for the free audit is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in the United States, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Using the site after that means the new version applies.
